The main objective is to provide learners with knowledge of the risks when driving on a high-speed road such as a motorway, a dual carriageway, or an A road. The drivers will learn how to look beyond the vehicle in front, predict traffic flow, maintain safe distances, identify hazards, understand risks, and alter their driving technique according to the conditions.
Why?
There are more commercial vans and cars on the roads because of e-commerce, efficiency, and emissions regulations. That means there are many more learners who haven’t had any awareness training and often have tight schedules to meet, which increases the risk of accidents.
The Interactive Safe Motorway Driving Training has been approved with course number CRS14880/2329 for the approval period from October 23, 2020 to October 22, 2021.
